First UK edition and first print published by Eyre Methuen in 1977. This is a very good ++ copy. The jacket has fading in colour on the spine and to the top of the front panel. There are small amounts of wear to the top of the spine. The book is in nice condition. There is no wear to the boards, no foxing marks and no previous owners ink. This copy is rare as it has been signed without dedication by the author Christopher isherwood to the title page.
