Catch-22 by Joseph Heller 1st / 1st 1962

FIRST UK EDITION published by Jonathan Cape in 1962. This is a very good or better copy. The second state jacket (with five reviews on the back panel) has not been price clipped and is displaying the correct price of 21s. net. There is minor wear to the spine ends and corners but overall it is a nice example. The book has very mild and sporadic foxing to the side text block. The book is very clean and has no previous owners names or other marks. Overall a very good or better copy. 
 
Heller's classic satirical WW2 novel, following anti-hero John Yossarian as he navigates his way through the conflict. He ends up fearing his commanding officers more than the opposing forces. Has been adapted to the big screen and theatre on a number of occasions, most recently as a critically acclaimed 6 part series.
