Broken Water by James Hanley 1st / 1st 1937

First UK edition published by Chatto and Windus in 1937. This is a very good or better copy. The dust wrapper has light marks and a couple of small tears to the bottom edge of the front panel. It is all there with no loss and is not price clipped.  There is a crease to the inside flap and a thumb nail indentation mark to the spine. The boards are bright and the pages clean. There was most likely a top stain to the upper text block but this has faded. There is the odd foxing mark to the side text block. Overall a very good or better copy. The author's autobiography and rare to find in first print with the dust wrapper.
