Blood Brotherhood Signed by Robert Barnard 1st / 1st 1977
First UK edition and first print published by The Collins Crime Club in 1977. This is a very good +++ copy. The wrapper has a tiny chip to the top right corner tip. The spine is a shade or two faded. There is a previous owner's name to the front free end paper. Otherwise the book is in nice condition with no other wear or foxing marks. The wrapper is not price clipped. It has been signed by the author without dedication to the title page. There is a review slip tucked into the front from the publisher. Overall a very good +++ copy.
a monk is brutally murdered at St. Botolph’s. Why is Father Anselm, the head of the Anglican Community, so reluctant to allow an investigation? Is he concerned simply about unfavourable publicity? Or is there a darker secret hidden behind the inscrutable walls of St. Botolph’s?
