Blithe Spirit by Noel Coward 1st / 1st 1942

First UK edition published by William Heinemann in 1942. This is a very good copy. The jacket has some scattered spotting to the front panel, the odd light mark throughout and a strip of toning to the back inside flap. The spine is toned too. There is minor wear to the spine ends and a tiny tear to the top edge of the front panel. The wrapper has not been price clipped. The book is in very good shape. There is a lighter strip at the bottom of the boards. The pages are clean and there is no ink or handling wear. Overall a very good copy. A critically acclaimed comic play that has had long runs in theatres in the UK and America, been adapted on the radio as well as to the big screen, most recently in 2020.
