B Signed by Eva Figes 1st / 1st 1972

FIRST UK EDITION published by Faber & Faber in 1972. The wrapper has only very minor wear with rubbing to a couple of corner tips. It is not price clipped. The spine shows no fade. The book is in excellent order with only an erasure mark to the front free end paper and a small mark to the front board. Overall this is a near fine copy. It has been inscribed by the author Eva Figes on the title page, to John Baxter and has been dated and located in Australia. 
 
This is the author's fourth published works after the award winning Winter Journey in 1967 and her best known work Patriachal Attitudes, written in 1970. This is a very rare novel to find and particularly so signed by the author.
