First UK edition published by Chatto and Windus in 1962. This is a very good copy. The wrapper and spine are both a shade or two sunned. There is minor wear to the corners and spine ends of the wrapper. The jacket is not price clipped. It comes with the rare wraparound book society band and promotional bookmark. Overall a very good copy. The booker prize winning author's sixth novel.
