Alfie by Bill Naughton 1st / 1st 1966

First edition and first print published by Macgibbon and Kee in 1966. This is a near fine copy. The wrapper is very complete with no tears, rips or chips. There is minor wear to the spine ends and along the joins of the spine also. It is not price clipped showing the correct price of 25s net. The book is very nice with no wear at all. There is no previous owners ink or foxing. Overall a near fine copy.
 
Originally written by the author as a stage play in 1963, he then went on to write this novel. It was then adapted into a film twice, a 1966 version starring Michael Caine and a 2004 version starring Jude Law.
