Action for Slander signed by Mary Borden 1st / 1st 1936

First UK edition published by Heinemann in 1936. This is a near fine copy. The Minns designed jacket has not been price clipped displaying 7/6 net. There is a short tear to the top of the front panel and also the same at the top right hand corner of the lower panel. There is also a smattering of foxing marks to the lower panel. The book displays some ghosting marks from the jacket on the back strip and ocasional handling marks to the boards. There are a handful of foxing marks to the side text block. Overall a smart near fine copy signed by Mary Borden. 
 
An early novel for the author best known for her graphic great war title The Forbidden Zone. This copy is particularly rare to retain its jacket and also for the author's inscription on the front leaf.
