A Time of Day by Francis Durbridge 1st / 1st 1959

First edition and first print published by Hodder & Stoughton in 1959. This is in near fine condition. The complete jacket retains all of its colour on the spine and to the panels. There are no chips or tears. There are some very minor wear to the corner tips. The jacket is not price clipped retaining 12s 6d net price as called for. The book is clean, without foxing or previous owners ink. The text block is clear. The boards are without marks. Overall a near fine copy. 
 
Francis Durbridge was a prolific screen writer for tv and radio in the 50's and 60's. He was the creator of the Paul Temple and Tim Frazer series. many of his novels are adapted from his scripts. This one though is not, its about a couple who at the point of deciding their marriage is over, are suddenly embroiled in a search for their lost daughter....
