Fleurs du Mal signed by Beresford Egan 1st / 1st 1929
London: The Sophistocles Press, (1929). SIGNED. First edition. This is a very good or better copy. The original patterned felt-covered boards are in a deep verdant green. Minor wear at the corners. The orange card title is clean, and the white title label on the spine is generally clean, but lightly faded. The rough-cut text blocks are very slightly foxed. A limited edition of 500 signed copies, this is number 5 and is signed and dated by the author in black ink. Overall, this is a near fine copy of a fine signed limited edition. An illustrated edition of Baudelaire’s ‘Fleurs de Mal’.
