Break 50 Kill by John Bratby, 1st / 1st, 1963
London: Hutchinson, (1963).
First edition. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper, designed and illustrated by the author in ‘June 63’ is bright and generally clean throughout. It has not been price clipped. The publisher’s review slip is laid in on the front free endpaper. The boards are free from chips and mark. The text blocks are bright and clean, but with very light foxing along the top edge. Overall, this is a near fine copy of a fine review copy. The fourth luridly autobiographical novel to be written and illustrated by Bratby.
