First edition. This is a near fine copy. The dust wrapper, designed by Cecil Beaton, is intricately illustrated but suffers from mild areas of wear. The top and tail of the spine are with very light separation and rubbing, this wear extends to the top and side edges of the front and rear panels. There are repairs and tape to the reverse of the jacket to the spine ends. It has not been price clipped. The text blocks are without foxing and appear bright and clean. Overall, this is a near fine copy of a scarce title.
