First edition. This is a very good copy. The plain dust wrapper designed by G. K. Chesterton has not been price clipped but has crease marks through the dust wrapper as at one stage it seems to have been folded. The wrapper is very complete with little or no loss. The dark cloth boards, with modest green illustrations, are clean and without notable chips and marks, aside to slight wear at the corners. The text blocks are generally clean, but the side suffers from a slight discolouration and browning. The top edge is characteristically green. Overall, this is a very good copy of a rare title.
