A Case of Samples By Kingsley Amis, 1st/1st, 1956
London: Victor Gollancz Ltd., (1956).First edition. This copy is near fine. The simplistic dust wrapper has minor wear to the top and tail of the spine and suffers with light separation at the corners. There is a small pen mark to the rear panel. It has not been price clipped and is displaying the correct 15/- price. This copy is with the original ‘Foyles’ vendor sticker on the front pastedown. The boards are without chips and marks and the text blocks are without foxing but are slightly browned. The front free endpaper features a previous owner’s inscription in a neat hand. The author’s signature is in black ink on the full title page and is without inscription. Overall, this is a near fine copy of the author’s third collection of poetry.
