Life in the Undergrowth signed by David Attenborough, 1st / 1st, 1995

£175.00Price

London: BBC Books, (2005).

SIGNED. First edition. This copy is near fine. The dust wrapper is pleasant and with engaging illustrations; there are light signs of rubbing present at the top and bottom edges. It has not been price clipped. The boards are covered in a deep red cloth and are free from chips and marks. The text blocks are bright and white throughout, and the illustrations are all present. The author’s signature appears on the half title page in black ink and is without inscription. Overall, this is a near fine copy. Attenborough offers a rare glimpse into the secret life of invertebrates, the world's tiniest, and most fascinating of creatures. Small by virtue of their lack of backbones, this group of living things plays a surprisingly large role in the evolutionary cycle.
